COMMENTS

This was one of THE BEST NXT ple's of all time. Every match on the MAIN CARD delivered from start to finish. The Women's North American Championship, NXT Tag Team Championships and the NXT Championship matches were all spectacular. Every match told a great story and all the performances were top notch all night. Really really good stuff from NXT this weekend in Toronto! One of the very best NXT PLE's ever. Kudos to everyone involved.

I particularly liked the finale of the main event. I liked the creativity and the flow of the match. Ethan Page winning was a bit shocking in some ways, but I'm glad he won because I've been enjoying his gimmick. Trick had a great run, but he's destined for bigger things, possibly a main roster bump here very soon. But they may keep him around to feud with Page a little longer. Either way, he's been a great champion. I don't mind shorter title reigns when the story makes sense. Page is a menace right now and he will make a great heel champion in the coming months. Still, a great finish to this match.

The NXT Tag Team titles match was one of the VERY BEST tag team matches I've seen in a while. The match flowed so well and it had so many crazy spots throughout. The performances all around were top notch and these guys were going at it like the rent has been overdue for months now. Damn. Nathan Frazer and Axiom make phenomenal champions and continue to prove why they may very well be the best tag team in all of wrestling right now, in any company. Really good stuff from these four gentlemen.

Another particular shoutout is to Sol Ruca and Kelani Jordan. Those two have some of the best in-ring chemistry of anyone on the roster today. Those two ladies absolutely KILLED IT in that Women's North American Championship match! Absolutely phenomenal. It's one of my favorite matches this year.

All in all, this show ROCKED and I can't wait to see where we go next in NXT. Fun times ahead.
