COMMENTS
I enjoyed the atmosphere and the card in general for Bash in Berlin. They started off strong with the WWE Championship match and ended in very high and brute fashion with the World Heavyweight Championship.

My favorite match was the STRAP MATCH between Punk and McIntyre, with the my least favorite match being the Women's Tag Team Championship match. The latter I felt was underwhelming, bleak and the crowd was only into Jade Cargill throughout the match. I really think Bianca needs a heel turn. It's long overdue.

Punk and Drew was an AWESOME and thrilling match from start to finish. Punk got his bracelet back finally, but I liked how the finish was executed with Punk smacking the turnbuckles, meanwhile kept hitting Drew with the GTS as he went around the four corners then hitting a final one and snatching the bracelet back, hitting the last turnbuckle for the W. Loved it.

The WWE TITLE match was a good start, but we all knew the outcome and I'm glad there was not heel turn with Owens. There was a part of me thinking Cody would be the one to turn on Owens in a crazy plot twist, but I'm glad that didn't happen. Cody has been hot as a babyface, so keep that going. Owens doesn't need another heel turn right now. It was a good match.

The Rhea/Priest/Liv/Dom match was a fun match. The crowd was hot for the whole thing and Judgment Day getting involved was expected, but made it equally as entertaining. I liked it. Great match and atmosphere.

The WORLD TITLE main event between Gunther and Orton was a strong finish. The crowd, again, was hot for both Orton and Gunther throughout. A lot of great spots, outside and inside the ring. The finale with Gunther choking out Orton was a good finish and makes Gunther look good in his first title defense. Orton looked real good in the match as well. He hasn't lost a step and it was good to see him with a more aggressive side to himself, something we haven't seen in a while from The Viper.

Overall, BASH IN BERLIN was a fun show, hot atmosphere and solid matches. I love these international shows and the crowds and environment that come with them. Can't wait until the next one.

We have BAD BLOOD coming October 5 in Atlanta, Georgia. That should be fun, based on the rumors I've been hearing for the proposed main event match. Gonna be interesting.

SHOW GRADE: 9/10
