The following is the MATCH CARD and my PREDICTIONS for WWE Extreme Rules 2022.

Good Old Fashioned Donnybrook

(Six-Man Tag Team match)

Sheamus,

Ridge Holland

& Butch

(The Brawling Brutes)

vs. Gunther,

Ludwig Kaiser

& Giovanni Vinci

(Imperium)

COMMENTS

I expect this to be a hard hitting match. Gunther and Sheamus are going to rip each other apart. Vinci, Kaiser, Holland and Butch are going to get violent. It's going to be really fun and I can't wait. The feud between Gunther and Sheamus has been rather entertaining and fun to watch as of late.

PREDICTION: Imperium

RAW Women's Championship

(Ladder match)

Bianca Belair (c) vs. Bayley

COMMENTS

I predicted this match to happen at Extreme Rules ever since Bayley returned at Summerslam this year. With Kai and Sky winning the tag titles, it makes sense for Bayley to win here and become the new champion. Bianca doesn't need the title anymore for a while... Bayley will get a solid run with it. The match itself will be entertaining, both women are awesome competitors. I don't expect any less.

PREDICTION: Bayley

Strap Match

Drew McIntyre vs. Karrion Kross (w/ Scarlett)

COMMENTS

This will be another hard hitting bout between Kross and McIntyre. I don't think the match will be long at all, but I do believe Kross is going over. McIntyre will put up a real solid fight and get some due offense in Kross, who has been a thorn in his side. Kross wins here. I believe Kross is being protected for a future Universal Championship match against Reigns, possibly at the Rumble.

PREDICTION: Karrion Kross

"I Quit" Match

Edge vs. Finn Balor (w/ Judgment Day)

COMMENTS

I feel like this is the match that will write off Edge until 2023, possibly the Rumble. Judgment Day gets involved heavily, Edge will get back up from Rey Mysterio and possibly Styles. Maybe a return from Beth Phoenix to even it up with Rhea's involvement. Seems fair. In the end, Balor gets Edge to "quit". It's the right call.

PREDICTION: Finn Balor

SmackDown Women's Championship

(Extreme Rules)

Liv Morgan (c) vs. Ronda Rousey

COMMENTS

I'd love to see Morgan get one over again on Rousey, but I feel Rousey is winning this one. Whether this match is the main event or not, Rousey is winning. I think Charlotte is returning and will want to get a big rematch against Rousey at the Rumble. Don't think they'll do it at Survivor Series, since that's usually champion vs champion. Morgan has been a solid champion, but picked more steam up in the later weeks of the reign. It's been fun, Liv. I'll continue to WATCH.

PREDICTION: Ronda Rousey

Fight Pit Match

Seth "Freakin" Rollins vs. Matt Riddle

COMMENTS

This feud has been absolutely incredible, personal, fun, entertaining, all of the above. Rollins is in his prime and having the time of his life. Riddle is a brute babyface. It's all awesome shit. Now, we get these two in a FIGHT PIT. A fun gimmick match that deserves to main event this show. I really don't know what the outcome of this is going to be. We have a "White Rabbit" to look out for. This could bring Brock Lesnar back and set up a match with Daniel Cormier (who is the guest referee in this match) at Crown Jewel. As far as a winner goes... I'm feeling Rollins on this. Riddle could benefit from this outcome either way. Even if he loses, it doesn't do anything to him as a TV character or performer.

Rollins is my choice to win here. I don't mind either winning, but there'll be some interesting shenanigans to happen here tonight in the Fight Pit. Maybe a returning Bray Wyatt sets up a feud with Rollins? Brock and Riddle at Crown Jewel? Brock and Cormier at Crown Jewel? Brock and Bray? Bray and Brock? Bray and Cormier? Bray and Riddle vs Brock and Rollins? I don't know. It'll be fun though.
