COMMENTS
I'm pretty excited for this event. I'm looking forward to the War Games' matches, mostly the men's one. As far as the rest of the card, they should be all fun matches - in particular the Intercontinental Championship match between Gunther and The Miz.

Now... we're in Chicago this year for Survivor Series... sooo, that entitles the elephant in the room here. Does CM Punk make his return to WWE? It's a heavy question, but it does deserve some more attention here this time around. Punk was fired from AEW a couple months ago. There were rumors a year ago that he wanted to return to WWE, but that the company 'turned him down'. We won't know if that's really true or not, because we don't work for the company.

With all that said, the rumors of Punk's arrival back in WWE have been heavier than ever now that he is a free agent and seemingly doesn't wanna stop wrestling. Do I know that for sure? Absolutely not, I'm not close to Punk. BUT, I'm also not stupid. WWE would be amiss if they didn't realize the buzz and money Punk can generate, that's been well proven in the past. WWE is a business, first and foremost and Punk can draw eyes and interest from a lot of people, maybe even old fans waiting to make a return to the product themselves. SO, with that said... I believe it is VERY possible that CM Punk shows up on WWE programming on Saturday, November 25, 2023.

So possible that... I believe CM Punk does indeed return to WWE on Saturday, November 25. It's a steeper hill I'm willing to die on. I just have a strong hunch WWE is cooking up something interesting with CM Punk. Also, with Vince McMahon not at the helm of the company anymore, Triple H knows there is money to be made and a ton of eyes to come out of doing business with Punk. He's not stupid, he knows the fans aren't stupid. I think we're finally getting Punk back on WWE television.

Now, how does this all happen exactly? My guess is either he just shows up at the end of the show, after the (Men's) War Games match is all said and done OR Shinsuke Nakamura has a segment, maybe even an open challenge. We've been seeing in the past weeks that Nakamura is seemingly waiting on someone to confront him, with last week him saying that this someone is 'close'. Wouldn't be a bad way to reintroduce Punk back to the company. And on top of that, getting an impromptu match with one of the best professional wrestlers across the globe in Shinsuke Nakamura.

In the end, one thing is for sure, Chicago has a SOLD OUT Survivor Series this year... we have a helluva main event with the Men's War Games match (if indeed main eventing), Randy Orton making his long awaited return and with all this buzz around CM Punk possibly making a comeback in the company - this show should be REALLY fun and very interesting. That's a fact.
